I used to be able to do that, I could even do a bow tie.
Of course I used to be able to run several miles, and hold a horse stance for half an hour.

If you tie it right, you'll never have to re-tie it. Just loosen it, slide it over your head, and just put your head in the pre-tied nuse the next time you have to wear it. Saves valuable time in the morning. (Military school trick, not really recommended for the real world if you actually want your tie to look good after the first wearing.) Do they have a video for the bow tie? I have a diagram, but it takes forever every time I try to remember how to do it.

weird... my sweetie had to wear a tie for a presentation this morning... and after 20 minutes of near strangulation and a mess... he looked it up online and learned how to tie a tie...
