*nods* - I think there's a lot of opportunity to explore the post-war trauma that the survivors would face, in the nineteen years between the war and the epilogue.

Thanks. I had written this as a one-shot, but knowing that Draco has only just taken the first step in a long and winding path, it might warrant another installment. I'll put it on my (rather long) sequel to-do list.

Oh that is just beautiful! The abusive relationship issue was handled wonderfully, and Draco needing time and space but still needing Harry...very nice.

I realize that I accelerated the action (most often a person in such a situation takes a lot longer, if ever, to make the decision to leave) in order to fit it into the one-shot without it becoming huge or multi-chaptered, but I had hoped that I at least showed that it's not an immediate thing with 'happily ever after' and all that.
