friends of mine lived in penrith, and we flew to london and took the bus to carlisle. while waiting for her to come get us in her teeny tiny car, we explored the carlisle cathedral. *does a happy dance*

It's beautiful, isn't it? It's neat how it was built over such a long period of time. When we were there, I just knew I wanted to write something about it.

Funny, but Carlisle was an impromptu stop, and we stayed a few days.
