Follow up: my default is Friends only and it doesn't allow me to select 'public' when I first post (weird). So I need to go back and edit to make it public. And (duh) I hadn't done that with the next part yet, which was why you couldn't see it. Sorry about that. I've been double-checking all posts since, though. :)
