I read this a few weeks ago and never got around to commenting. This is SUCH a lovely story. I really loved all of the details about the Isle of Skye, and the way you talked about the magic of the place. And Harry and Draco were perfect in their interactions with each other, both as Harry and Draco and as James and Thomas. Your characterizations of Hermione and especially Ron were really wonderful as well. Great job, baby!

Wow! You have family on Skye? It's such a beautiful (and magical) place. I loved it when I visited last summer. I'd love to hear more stories about the place, because (in true Scottish/Gaelic tradition) so many of the stories are only ever passed by word of mouth and I can't find written records of so many of the tales our tour guide told us.
