A/N: A couple of people, after reading Lost Time asked about what happened with Narcissa. I hope this explains it to everyone's satisfaction.

"Narcissa, darling," Lucius said in surprise. "How did you manage to get in here? They don't allow visitors in Azkaban."

"I got special permission, Lucius."

"Oh?"

"Yes, Harry Potter arranged it."

"Wh-what?" A glimmer of fear flickered around his eyes.

"Oh, yes, my husband. You see, he has a lot of influence, did you know?"

"Filthy half-blood --"

"Tut, tut. There will be none of that now. Not for the man who saved our son's life."

"A likely story --"

Narcissa's eyes narrowed as she surveyed her husband through the bars of his cell. "You might be interested to know, Lucius, that Mr Potter - Harry and I have become quite close over the last few weeks."

"What?!" he yelled, grasping the bars angrily, looking very much like the caged animal he was.

"Oh, not like that, silly," she said with a giggle. "No, no. He's gay, did you know?" She watched Lucius's eyes widen slightly in surprise at her words.

"Of course, if he weren't ..."

"Is there a purpose to this conversation?" he asked, clearly agitated.

"But of course there is, darling. You see, while Mr Potter and I have been getting acquainted, he has shared with me some interesting memories."

Lucius took a step away from the bars, further into his cell. Narcissa stepped closer.

"Yes, he was able to show me exactly what happened the night Draco was hexed."

"Oh?" Lucius was now a safe distance back, out of arm's reach, but looked like he was searching for a way out.

"Did you know that he looked directly at you just before Apparating to St. Mungo's with Draco?"

"Me?"

"Really, Lucius, after years of marriage, you don't actually think yourself capable of lying to me, do you? Your attempt is rather pathetic."

"But --"

"That night, you arrived home and whisked me away for an extended vacation, to get away from things for a while. I believe you said that you'd been caged up for so long that you needed to spread your wings and feel your freedom. I should have known --"

"Narcissa --"

"Be thankful they didn't let me in here with a wand, Lucius, because you would be dead by now. Or ... well ... writhing in pain on your way to being dead anyway." She smiled. "You'd better hope you spend the rest of your days locked up, because the day I get word of you getting out, you're a dead man. Do I make myself clear?"

"Oh, right. As if you --"

"Draco is our son you bastard! How could you? He lay dying in a hospital while we were ... on vacation!" The last word was spit out with contempt. She took a deep breath and regained her composure. "But never mind that now. You are where you belong, Draco and I are all the better for your incarceration, and you need never darken our doorstep again."

"That would be my doorstep, woman."

Again, she laughed. "Oh, did I not mention? It seems that the law is in our favour, and the house, as we speak, is being transferred to the next generation of Malfoy. You know, the one you tried to kill?"

"You bitch!"

Her laugh became maniacal. "You're only just figuring that out now, Lucius? I'm disappointed."

"You can't do this to me!"

"Oh, but I can, I will, and I am doing this to you. And did I mention that Harry Potter was gay?"

"Yes, but what the hell --"

She smiled ever-so-sweetly at her soon-to-be-ex husband. "He and Draco ..."

Lucius stumbled back, bracing himself against the wall, likely the only thing preventing him falling down. "No!" he gasped.

"Yes," she said with finality. Turning around to leave, she called back, "Do have yourself a nice life, Lucius," and left the building, never to return, never to see his face again.
