Politicians perpetuate the false idea that Hollywood has a major influence in politics. So when things like this happen, they can place the blame, sensor, regulate freedom and gain more clout. The media, in turn, latches on to both and makes a killing. I don't think Fonda was anything more than a clueless tool doing what she thought was right by putting aside patriotism in the name of human interests. She, in the end, had no more influence over our world than MJ does over pedophilia laws. Her current escapades, will likely make even fewer changes in the world other than the tide of exhumed filth that will likely find it's way to our television sets and cause a weeks worth of conversation before once again we all decide to agree to disagree and it's forgotten. Lets please leave the government to the politicians and the ignore the starlets who think they can influence politics. Because they can't. The whole issue is a fart in the wind.
