Firefox issues (two words that don't belong in the same sentence normally!)

Is anyone having issues with the latest version of Firefox? (3.5 I think)

Mine crashed yesterday and again just now, and was being really *really* slow before the second crash before - I don't think I was running anything else big or complicated on my computer, so not sure what caused it.

Argh. Is it possible to downgrade back to 3.0.14?

You can downgrade, I've done it before. If you google it, you'll find a download for it somewhere. As for problems, I've not got that version so don't know!

I don't think I'd notice if mine were, to be honest, because my PC keeps turning itself off whenever the heck it feels like it regardless of what I'm doing/how long it's been on/how many programmes I'm running that I'm about close to lobbing it out the window!

Haha oh dear!! Mine's getting a bit slow regardless of the above, but not got to crashing because of it yet. Which is good, as not that old! Grr pcs. why are they so fun but frustrating??

I'm using my iphone for all my regular things atm, just laptop for occasional email and lj, but mostly for downloading tv!

LOL! Mine crashes if I do anything - firefox, movie player, iplayer etc its driving me mental. Need to get dad to fix it :(

I was having some issues with it today, kind of got around them but not promising.

I almost gave up and found this site, looks pretty comprehensive for downgrades.

Yeah, as I said to Manda, I'm definitely going to google the issues as well and see how it goes. But otherwise, downgrade here i come!

You might want to clean up your databases and see if it doesn't help, too :)
