I just saw that E. Gary Gygax died. I never really got into gaming, not as much as I would have liked to, but he had such an impact on geek culture, that naturally it affected my part in it. I would personally go for the category layout, but then I'm a very order related type anyway. Besides, if you wanted to show someone one of them, it'd be easier to find if categorized.

That's actually what I was thinking - despite the work it entails! I started it that way, got twenty or thirty pages in, then thought "Wait, maybe I should ask..."

I'd suggest categorized -- it might also help you if you wanted to avoid repeating very similar ones. The diary format is great in a LJ/blog, but not so much in a book.

Thanks for sharing. Helps make the occasional Corporate Stupidity (TM) that comes my way seem less bad (and more "occasional").
