I don't know what the locals' tricks are but I'm in the shower for ages and I still can't get all the sand out of my hair. And the water quality sucks. I believe there's a reason why hieroglyphs depict Egyptians as bald, Shishido. Though such an outcome would mean fewer people assuming you were interested in belly dancing lessons.
