I sold off that gorgeous pair of patent wedges yesterday. I absolutely adored the way they looked, but couldn't keep them. Imagine the perfect luck! A woman in Long Beach was searching for a pair of black pumps with a wooden wedge in a perfect Nine West size 7-1/2B! Wonderful for her, convenient for me

Highly recommended: the World's Softest Socks. (Truth in advertising!) They alone are the method of my surviving more than 2 hours in my crappy faire boots.

Also funny: I too found a pair of practical boots, higher than ankle but lower than "calf height". Less than 1/2" heel means I can wear them! Yay!
