I finished it this afternoon. Definitely pushed the story forward. I am wondering what's left to accomplish besides the new "Strike on Shayol Ghul". Is this book going to be climax... climax... climax followed by a few hundred pages of denouement? Perhaps there is stuff from the rest of the series I missed and need to review.

You're better off just finding a WoT synopsis website. Honestly, books 7 to 10 are just unreadable, except for the hardcore fans.

Of the remaining stuff, I'm looking forward to Rantherin's facedown with Ishadin, and then with Cynfear. I'm also looking forward to seeing the WT and BT merge/collaborate. Not that big into battle stuff so I wouldn't mind if that all happens offscreen, but we'll probably get one big battle with Mat, if not also one with Perrin.
