I've been for many years in Cluj-Napoca, both as a student and a professor at B-B Univ., and I've been there around from Someseni to Turda, and I have never seen such bad images that you put on web. Shame on you! They must be from your native place, and you mixed/messed them up. There are so many wonderful places in that Transsylvanian city of Romanian, that only an idiot's prejudicious mind couldn't have seen, but ignored on very low judgement.

Dear anonymous,
By virtue of the fact that I saw and photographed the images in Cluj-Napoca, it's obvious that they exist. The fact that you are not aware of the situation they depict does not make them less true or relevant, though its invisibility to you is telling about the social divisions that exist in your society. I make no claim that similar divisions do not exist in other places. There is miserable poverty to be found all around the world today.
I am not ashamed to have taken or posted these photographs, and they are indeed from Cluj. I believe that the shame is, in fact, your own; why else would you comment anonymously on a personal webjournal?
