When I read about how the whole rest of the world is developing their high-speed rail lines, I just get increasingly pissed off about America's failure to participate. We are needlessly turning ourselves into dinosaurs with our failure to develop a sustainable energy policy and a viable transportation system. you're welcome! i am fascinated by biodiesel but have wondered for a while how and where folks can purchase it and how it works . . . i'm glad there is growing support for alternative sources of fuel.

at the same time, though, i think the answer really is to promote public transportation in the form of better suburban and intercity railways, rather than just make cars that can run on vegetable oil. parallel efforts never hurt, though.
