I don't automatically assume everything is a sign, but when something infringes upon my awareness three times in a shorter period of time I assume there is a reason for it. Most of the time I can figure out what it means, but this time I'm at a loss.

Periodically I find myself thinking about my weight. Anyone who has seen me recently knows I am not skinny. I have a belly, a butt and boobs. Were you to look at what I am 'supposed' to weigh, given my sex and height, you would see that I am overweight. Technically I'm 'obese' which is, I think, bullshit ( Read more... )

I want to make video games. Which means I will need to learn at least one programming language. Does anyone have any suggestions of a good one to start with?

My depressive episode is over and I fully intend to take steps to prevent another one.

Medication is not one of those steps. I have never felt comfortable with the idea of taking antidepressants. I only considered them because I was desperate to feel better. This is no longer the case.
