Wait a sec... Your landlord is making you pay to get your own heating? What? Did you take a sledgehammer to the furnace or somthing? How is this your fault?

Pity is, I took the flat directly from the girl who lived in it before. She handed it over to me and we had the walk-through together when I had the chance to check all stuff if it works. That's juridically correct. So I have to get the money from her. Her telephone number, work address and (of course) home address changed.
I could try to go to court or something. For 400-600 Euros?

*sigh*

Did I mention that this is a special oven that doesn't work during the day and therefore cannot be checked on the walkthrough?

(scraches head) Errr... If you were Stateside, I'd say Small Claims Court but I'm not sure how you folks in the Eastern Kingdom do it.

Have you tried just calling her and talking?
