Overall, Jaime thought he had come to terms with island-living much better than he ever had anything in his former life although he still had much to do in terms of swordplay and he found himself curious about Rock. With Stu taking time off, Jack had far too much time to think. Today, of all days, he just wanted to stop thinkig about who was more important than who, wo would get their feelings hurt by what, and how they were going to build spiral staircases.

As he approached the pool, the sound of the waterfall pushed the cacophany of thought away and he just wanted to stand under the water and let it crash over him...until he saw a familiar blond.

"Jaime," he said, the smile taking sound in the name. "Hey there, beautiful."

Jaime slowly opened his eyes, a contented smirk already spreading over his features since he recognized the voice. "Hello to you, Jack."

"No, I don't mind at all," Jaime replied, moving over slightly although really there was plenty of room where he was lounging or anywhere else nearby. "I've missed you too," he added quietly. The Kingslayer had never been too comfortable admitting such a thing but it was true. "Is everything all right?"
