Since there was no specific task that ever needed doing on a regular basis, Jaime had decided that he would spend this particular day making up for the sleep he didn't seem to be getting. He felt somewhat guilty about that in regards to how often it was disrupting Benjen's sleep cycle but really it wasn't a conscious choice that the Kingslayer had

Benjen couldn't say exactly what it was effecting his mood that day. He felt strange but it wasn't something he could pin.

He bounded (yes, bounded) into the tent, humming to himself and flopped onto the bedroll next to Jaime, promptly kissing him full on the mouth. "Good morning, sunshine."

"Go--mmph." Well, the bounding was a trifle disturbing but the kiss was quite nice. Good morning, my slightly-intoxicated lover, Jaime thought to himself although considering how early it was in the day... Perhaps Benjen simply had a mild concussion.

"Good morning to you too," he said when he broke off the kiss in order to breath.

Benjen kissed lightly at Jaime's neck and found himself unable to stop smiling.

"Have I told you lately that I love you? Because I do." When, in fact, Benjen had never truly said anything of the like, nor would he be one to admit it now...if ever.

Jaime raised an eyebrow at that and wondered if this was simply another dream. He doubted it because he had no luck and because this was entirely too pleasant to be one of his dreams.

"Well... I care for you a great deal as well," he said carefully, not very good at recieving or delivering declarations of love although he was not opposed to meaning a great deal to Benjen. He kissed the Ranger's cheek and then ran a hand through Benjen's hair. "And I'm glad you've decided to keep me entertained."
