So often on the internet people are asked what their favorite school subject was.  (Personally, I've found a disproportionately high amount here answer English.)  I'm curious what sorts of passions they have; obscure details or even not-so-obscure niches that are fascinating.  Some of them are easy to guess just in the everyday chatter of people

Oh! Rock collection. Mainly agates and amethyst or other pretty and/or shiny things you find in Minnesota. And glass shards, polished smooth by Lake Superior.
