Your photos confirm that I need to visit Yosemite one of these days. :) The first one almost looks like a painting. (Ok, maybe that's just me...)

i suppose the only thing left to do is run bay to breakers as an actual footrace - seeing as they're banning drunks & floats this year. sad sad world.

Actually, they decided to allow the floats. They backed off on the alcohol thing, too, but they're trying to make people "more responsible" about it this year. I guess the last few years have been getting worse and last year was the nadir for people who live along the course: people pissing and shitting everywhere, trashing stuff, etc

We'll see

Haha, well, I think she was wearing it just because it was one of the few t-shirts she has. She didn't even wear any Brewers' items when we went to the game yesterday.

I'm not sure she could name more than seven or eight Brewers, which isn't bad, I guess. We had a similar conversation yesterday:

"Prince Fielder"

"Yes"

"Rickie Weeks"

"Yes"

"Ryan Braun"

"Yes"

"JJ Hottie"

"Uh, kinda"

"Ben Sheets"

"Um, no"

"Corey Hart"

"Yes"

"Paul Molitor"

Corey "All-Star Rightfielder" Hart!

(Although when he struck out to end an inning yesterday, the AT&T Park people played "Sunglasses at Night"--they did the same thing two years back)

My ass will be parked right outside of Marlena's with a sign that says "GO DAVE!" and another one that says "GO EVERYBODY!" It's a shame I don't have one that says "GO JOEL!"
