On Nanowrimo

 I thought the marathon runner character's icon was appropriate here....

Of course most of you, whether you participate or not, have heard of Nanowrimo. The concept is to try to write and entire “novel” of 50,000 words, from start to finish, in the month of November.

Telling people you are going to do this usually has mixed reactions. Fellow

Now that I think about it, I don't know any of the NaNo community sites, though...

well the nano site itself is the best one. There are also a few aim chat rooms and a few non aim ones. The one you can link to from the Nano site is IRC I think.
