Partially enclosed, 35 mile range, not highway safe, very few safety features... this seems destined to fail.

I think it is safe to say this is the begining stages. After a while they will be like cars we drive now, fully enclosed, tons of safety features and possibley larger mile ranges. At least it is a step away from being dependent on oil.
