Their judgment of BRMC's new album, entitled "This Album is Wiggity-Whack" (actually, "Howl") made me lose so much faith. Their first album: super textured, haunting and kewl reverb J&M Chain copying goodness, reminiscient of rainy/angsty Scotland like their predecessors of the Chain. Their most recent album: acoustic, Americanay, rootsy, whack shit that makes either their current pose or the one on their first album a complete pretense. Super alienating.

[T]hey completely revamped their sound. In fact, their first record for RCA, 2005's Howl, sounds like the work of an entirely different group. Gone are the insistent tempos, the snarling vocals, and the sheets of guitar noise. Gone is the hostile and often belligerent pose of the first two albums. There should be some sort of reader feedback mechanism to at least petition their attention for revision. I'm sure their staff is pretty huge. If some jackass writes a dumbassed review it can't stand for all time.

...I mean...if they care at all.
