The irritated tone...the not quite admonishment...the insinuation and personal observations...I saw no OC Mycroft as a matter of fact asside from the fact that I don't know that he would have mingled with the rabble this was Mycroft all over.
Ohhhhh the bother you have caused him! For shame Sherlock for shame!
Pardon me for this, really, I try not to be crude. FUCKING BRILLIANT!
Okay, then, now that potty-mouth is gone. Exceptionally done, I can just HEAR him, wanting so hard to box his brother's ears that his fingers itch. Oh, and the stabbing straight to the gut with Watson's reactions and Mary's illness. Totally, totally believable as coming from Mycroft. Truly, you are so on target, there's no point in drawing the X.
Memories is receiving another donation, thank you. No, really, Thank You.
You're welcome!:)) That's what the Old New Year Party does to a brain... I thought originally to make it their first Christmas after Holmes and Mary died, how they all gathered at Watson's, uninvited, just to keep him company; it wouldn't be angst per se, seen through Mycroft Holmes's eyes. But I couldn't pull it off. So there you are. If someone wrote the Christmas scene, though, I'd be much delighted:)) Cheers, Be3
This, this is wonderful! The irony, the biting sarcasm, the hint of bitterness mingled with just the slightest touch of pity for those left behind... I love it. Very nicely done. You portrayed Mycroft excellently.
