Every single time I make a comment on a friend's post, I leave a typo. Every time! I do read it over once before I post, and I miss it that read through. Yet, every time I see the comment posted there is that dang typo. Often they land in the worst place, where meaning can be changed by my typo. Argh. What can I say? I'm an idiot. *sigh

One of the features of a paid account is the option to edit your comments...

Aside from the paid members thing already mentioned, you can spell check by hitting more options, then the clicky box, then preview.

The only thing is that once we post our comments, we can only edit until someone responds to it. After that, you can't change it.

only paid accounts can edit comments...and only if no one had replied to the comment.

LOL You are not alone. I usually make typos as well, even after I've read through it. =) I like the edit on the comments post, I just wish I could catch the error before they respond to me. LOL
