Don't know the wedding date anymore. Guess January isn't a convenient time for some people, so who knows when we'll get married . . . it may be as late as 2011 (after he gets back from his 2010 deployment). All I really want is to be his wife. I'll do whatever it takes. Not even sure if it will be in Washington anymore, sorry everyone.

Bummer. May I suggest a quiet little wedding, then do a big reception later?

Why not just get married there, and see about visiting WA as a honeymoon? I know that's pretty much what you did before, but if you two are that certain you should be married, and the logistics are that difficult, why not just do it?

Mostly I was just upset that his parents were having a coniption that were were getting married before his 2010 deployment. I don't think they realize we've been living together for over 9 months, and we BOTH want to start a family sooner rather than later.

His parents and sister both married just out of high school, so this marriage at almost 30 with me being divorced and him having had a kid before is probably a novelty to them.

His parents have lots to do this year, and I guess were hoping for a little bit of a break between major occassions.

Also: I called Grandma and The Fam. In AK. I did also Talk to Uncle Mike and Alberta.

I kind of let it slip that you were engaged. I had to tell grandma, because she was telling me how she doesn't get her messages.

Either way, I'm sorry if I let the 'Cat out-of-the-bag'. But I thought this was a set thing(The wedding date that is). Although, I didn't mention a Date to Uncle Mike or Alberta. I don't think I said anything to grandma about a date either.

I'm leaving today(Tue. April 21) to go up to B'Ham for my B'day. Otherwise I would tell you to give me a call. I'll be busy all week and my first event is this weekend. So I won't be home until the 27th.

So rest somewhat assured, that I didn't say to much to the Fam. in AK. I don't think any of them heard a Date come out of my mouth. So I'm sorry if I spoiled any surprise you were planning.

I hope you're doing O.K. I realize 2011 is a Long Time to wait.

No worries I was just getting all pissy, like you're used to me doing. We are still thinking about early 2010, but exact date and location are still being determined. I'm glad you got a hold of everyone in AK.
