Merry Christmas everybody! Remember Jesus is the reason we celebrate, and that it IS actually okay to say Xmas, because X is the greek letter chi, which in fact, means Christ! (all the IXA girls should definitely know that!)

Anyways, I saw 'Return of the King' last night with Linda. It was a great movie, but I think I will enjoy it more when I'm not sick. Legolas was awesome....and beautiful! 'Two Towers' is my favorite out of the three though.


I saw this on robinsky and breezybird's journals and thought about waiting til the 31st, but Christmas Eve will do.

1. What did you do in 2003 that you'd never done before? All kinds of things....flew on a plane, left the country, rode in a taxi, used public bus transportation, lived on my own in a sense (not at home and not in a dorm), etc etc etc

2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year? I think I made one to have an enjoyable time in Mexico....which I kept. I'll make one this year.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth? Ummmm.....I don't think so.

4. Did anyone close to you die? Yes, Linda passed a few weeks ago.

5. What countries did you visit? Mexico!

6. What would you like to have in 2004 that you lacked in 2003? hmmmm...nothing.

7. What date from 2003 will remain etched upon your memory, and why? January 6th, the day I left for Mexico.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year? I went to another country to study and live where the people didn't speak English and I didn't chicken out last minute.

9. What was your biggest failure? Well, some things came crashing down mid-March...

10. Did you suffer illness or injury? Haha...I sprained my right ankle and busted open my left knee. I was a little accident prone in Mex.

11. What was the best thing you bought? I don't know.

12. Whose behavior merited celebration? I have to say all my sisters, for making me feel like I never left.

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed? Two people.

14. Where did most of your money go? savings or to use at school.

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about? Going to Mexico, going on the out west trip, and going back to MHC.

i. happier or sadder? happier
ii. thinner or fatter? suprisingly thinner, but not by much
iii. richer or poorer? richer

18. What do you wish you'd done more of? I wish I had traveled more in Mexico.

19. What do you wish you'd done less of? Drinking cause it did get me in to trouble a couple of times....but it could have been a lot worse.

20. How will you be spending Christmas? Christmas Eve here, Christmas Day here and my cousin Heather's.

21. What was the most embarrassing thing that happened to you in 2003? Tripping and sliding across a crosswalk while traffic was coming.

22. Did you fall in love in 2003? No....and yes. I fell more in love with God.

23. How many one-night stands? zero

24. What was your favorite TV program? La Femme Nikita and American Dreams!

25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year? hate is such a strong word.....

26. What was the best book you read? The Mark

27. What was your greatest musical discovery? Juanes

28. What did you want and get? I got all that I needed.

29. What did you want and not get? I don't know.

30. What was your favorite film of this year? I didn't watch too many this year.

31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you? I turned 21 and went out with my roommates to eat.

32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying? If I had kept the weight off that I lost while in Monterrey.

33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2003? Relaxed and athletic. haha.

34. What kept you sane? My faith.

35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most? That would be Andy Roddick.

36. What political issue stirred you the most? To find WMDs or liberate the Iraqis? That was the question.

37. Who did you miss? Mis chicas malas, Gustavo...

38. Who was the best new person you met? Mi chilango
