It was a decent premise, but I thought the episode was pretty disjointed and cliched. Like the whole, "OMG EVERYONE DIES-- wait no only a dream" thing always bothered me a little.

Yeah I'll definitely agree with you on that. Regardless of how it did give me FEELINGS, it was kind of a weird episode to come back to and it doesn't really mesh well with the rest of the series in some ways.

It would have been better if we were aware of the whole simulation thing from the beginning, and actually cutting to Batman and everyone watching over them, because then the losing control of the simulation and the team going into comas would have made more of a impact. INSTEAD OF GOING THE ROUTE OF, "OH HEY CAMEOS OF SUPERHEROES YOU LOVE- NOW THEY'RE DEAD."

Didn't stop me from wanting to hug every Miss Martian, though.

OH, THIS EPISODE.

I think we should have known it was a simulation from the beginning. The YJ's lack of reaction to their mentors deaths at the beginning seemed like awkward writing at first. But we later had it explained to us. We should have been privy to the simulation from the beginning because there ended up being more telling than showing in the episode.

Nevertheless, they did handle M'gann later reaction and built up the scenario in a gripping manner. I just wanted to hug M'Gann too! Just... oh sweetie. She feels so strongly, and loves her Earth family so much! I was pleased when Captain Marvel held her. He is such a sweet kid!

Agreement on the knowing it was a simulation from the beginning would have been better. I have too much experience with cartoons having awkward writing in the way of under reaction at something bad happening.

I WANT TO HUG EVERY M'GANN BUT I CAN'T. Captain Marvel is a sweetheart. OH GOSH ARTEMIS'S "DEATH" WAS THE THING THAT TRIGGERED HER TAKING CONTROL. Earth sisters.
