i really like the tiger's face - the markings look deliberate, like tattoos would be on a person, which makes the tiger seem like a supernatural or mythic creature in its own right. which is really cool.
I hope it wasn't too on the nose--I can't deny the poem was on repeat in my head, but I just wanted to be evocative.
Thank you SO much for the comment.
It's so weird--I never do a picture that's popular (at least at the time) on tumblr, dA, and LJ. This one is definitely an LJ baby. Which is encouraging, because I'm trying to get back into LJ fandom. So thank you all!
I have so few followers on tumblr I'm lucky if anyone sees anything I post there, and the same goes for DA. If I wasn't on LJ I've never get seen at all! LOL Anyhow, it's nice to have you back.
What's your tumblr? You got one more follower in a sec. And your dA.
It's really random on there--some posts get picked up and bounced around a bit, others that I love to pieces languish apparently unseen. But it's kind of that way everywhere. At least on LJ PEOPLE TALK TO YOU. I missed that--that's why I'm coming back.
