Portrait of a Lady Alexander (Season 6, Episode 4)
Wow, after all the step parents Serena’s had, guess she’s the expert on dealing with step children now too.
Oo… Serena hasn’t told Steven she used to date Nate? Ouch. That’s some blow.
What is up with the giant age difference romances? Ivy and Rufus and Serena and Steven. God. Stop. They both make me want to puke.
“Everyone.”
Hey look! It’s like Lily and Rufus’s lists 2.0!
“Debriefing my mother on Waldorf Designs can wait. She knows I have no buyers, so she’s just calling to yell at me. Besides I have much more pressing business to attend to. Like finding Lady Alexander, whoever and wherever she is.”
Oh my god stop. Blair’s putting Chuck over her entirely life again. The future of Blair’s company, her mother’s company, her family’s livelihood is at stake, and all Blair can concentrate on is digging up info on Lady Alexander. She is not mature enough to run a company. I don’t know what Eleanor was thinking.
Blair and Chuck’s little exchange in the street about the horse show and Lady Alexander was… stilted. It didn’t seem comfortable at all.
“I can’t believe I ever loved someone who could write such awful things about his friends and family.”
Oh, because the rest of the UES is just sunshine and daisies, isn’t it?
Bart is a horrible horrible person, and I hate him. It was horrible of him to bring Nate’s father into this.
“It is, I - I don’t… Chuck?”
What the hell? Blair can’t talk herself out of this? What’s happened to her? She has to defer to Chuck? What happened to strong Blair?
That Blair/Chuck/Lily conversation was painful to listen to.
I’m not liking the new Dan.
“You told me you two were madly in love and he could be the one.”
Yes, Lily, let’s just announce this to Steven. Because I’m sure Serena’s told Steven about this.
Nate and Sage kind of makes me want to puke too. Great.
Ew. Ew. Ew. Lily slept with Steven. Ew.
Bart was breaking federal law. Really. This storyline just gets more and more convoluted. In a bad way.
“If you want to be with me, you need to stay away from my son.”
He actually can’t legally ask Lily for that. She adopted Chuck. What’s wrong with Bart and the entire Bass family? So many issues. This storyline needs to die. Now.
“So Bart was using the horses to hide the money he was buying illegal oil with?”
This is the worst storyline ever.
So Chuck wants to turn his father in? Great, more dysfuctionality.
\
What in the world is Blair wearing? Have the people who design her wardrobe died or something?
Glad Serena deleted the video. Even if she should’ve done it a year ago. But of course Georgina downloaded it.
That Dair scene at the end of the episode was the saving grace of the entire episode. There was more chemistry in that one minute dwarfed the chemistry Chuck and Blair have had all season.
