Oh, *patpat* To his credit, he was about three sheets to the wind, so he was operating on Drunk Logic and Mohinder Logic.
Sylar creepily manipulating Mohinder's very movements from outside the room, and Mohinder being so.. so clinical when initiating sex with Sylar really set the mood for the rest of their relationship, by which I mean the part with the OMG power dynamics O_O Sylar, the (totally overpowered) controlling one is also clearly the most emotionally invested and vulnerable of the two. (THE TOAST, MAN, THE TOAST! XD)
You know, I started off hoping that Sylar's earnestness would just win Mohinder over in not too much time, but the underlying volatile nature of their.. weird arrangement is much more ( ... )

Yes, EXACTLY. The power dynamics are just so messed up, and that really comes to the forefront in the next chapter.
Nice to see that as much of a creepy sweetheart as he's being, Sylar's still a kooky sumbitch, btw >:D
Ahaha, thanks - he's so fluffy in this chapter especially that I wanted to make sure everyone knows that he's still off his rocker. Poor Sylar - SO CRAZY.
(and lol your icon. XD)

The Mohinder later on is a little docile for my taste, but it's nice to hear it's half an act to appease Sylar.
Oh, the fight's not quite out of Mohinder yet. A big part of this chapter was setting up the end of the book, and - well, you'll see. ;)
Glad to hear Sylar talking about how freedom is wrong and forced marriages, cause the boy's a few fries short of a happy meal and a psycho killer
Heee, I like that. :D Poor Sylar.
not a sweet cuddly kitty (despite what the show might have you believe right now).Yes, EXACTLY. (It's funny - I started writing this before season 3, and I was worried about Sylar seeming too OOC, and now, well - I'm not quite as worried. :P) I really hope that they lay off the cuddly!Sylar on the show, because yeah, that's not who he is. He's nuts. I hope I'm not giving too much away, but the Sylar in this fic, no matter how awkwardly sweet he's being, is still bugfuck insane. He's not sorry for what he did, and he never will be - he thinks all of his actions are 100% justified ( ( ... )

I agree - TK is awesome! \o/ I haven't really worked it into the sex scenes (yet), but I hope this satisfies your TK kink a little. ;D
I'm glad you liked the sex scene! This one and the previous one were a little tricky, because I want to make it clear than Mohinder isn't being forced into it, but at the same time, a big part of it is that Sylar is, well, the last man on earth (which is how this story started, btw - I was racking my brains for a non-non-con Mylar scenario, and thought "Well, maybe Mohinder would be into him if he was the last man on earth." XD) He's willing, but the circumstances more than his own desires have led him to this. (I hope that made sense. /o\)
(perfect pacing and timing with that break by the way. Absolutely perfect.) ( ... )
