So...I started running regularly for, like, two weeks and then gave up. Again. I really need to start sticking to these for longer than two weeks -- it's my breaking point every. single. time

I get bored if I do anything for too long without a break - if you must run, you can do intervals, location, whatever, but I would break it up with bike riding, swimming, blading. And other stuff, so long as it's different.
Yeah, it definately takes a long time to get to Vancouver. It takes like two days just to make it from Toronto to Winnipeg (it can be done in one day, but it's just a long drive) and then it's 16 hours to Calgary, and another day through the mountains. Flight isn't an option, is it?
Hellooo. Sorry to stalk - I'm Jaeta on your FL. :p
I used to have a habit of giving up too. For me it was because I was either doing too much too soon (so it was overwhelming and difficult to maintain over a long time) or because I just got bored doing the same kind of thing.
Have you tried jump-rope? Or circuits with your bodyweight? You can do those anywhere too, including confined spaces.
Nothing like a good road trip. I haven't been on one in yonks.
@SPN: It's a good series, probably one of the only things I watch on TV anymore. My friend/jensen fangirl got me into it. I have a soft spot for Sam, but I think Dean is a better character.
I also like Castiel. His actor's awesome too. My friend met him at a convention, said he's nothing like his character in spn. XD
I need to buy me some rope. LOL, seriously. I've been meanign to because that's just FUN. I think I'm going to start again and stick to it this time. I always kinda wanted to take kickboxing and try to kick some ass, but we'll see how much money/time I have and if anyone will join. I hate doign these by meself ;__;
I wanna do some strength training too, but I hate going to the gym and I have no equipment at home :( That and I can't stop eating at 3 am and smothering crap in nutellaHELP

My jrope cost 5 dollaz. It's one of those cheap plastic ones. I bought it ages ago and it still works great. Good investment; not to mention I can take it anywhere. Just throw it in your bag, use a hairtie/elastic band to bind it if you need to.
but I hate going to the gym and I have no equipment at home :( I hate it too, so I don't go. XD I tried it out last year @ my friend's uni gym.
In my experience it's 'good', but not necessary. Not to mention the fees. My friend said it would cost her thousands or something by the end of the year. =/ Having to wait to use the machines, only to find it sweaty from the last person. Having to travel there. And then there's the gym rats (they're the ones around you that like to grunt and flex when they workout).
I don't have any equipment either (or money, not sure if you're in the same boat). All I really have is a chair and one of those inflatable stability balls. But for strength training that's all you really need along with your bodyweight.
I hate doign these by meself ;__;Maybe it's not

Oh ja, the amounts of dollars for gym memberships = insane. And I'd feel guilty if I missed days or something and still gotta pay the money. Although I suppose that's good motivation. Still, I could think of a 1000 better ways to spend 1000 bucks. LOL
And then there's the gym rats (they're the ones around you that like to grunt and flex when they workout). Hahaha! My friend told me abotu that. She's like an exercising freak, she's there like almost every day, but she tells me horror stories of people flexing and moaning/grunting to get her attention. She's all like, I'm purple-faced and sweating and so are you. NOT ATTRACTIVE! lolz
rather the fact that there's other people watching you?LMAO! I got on of those workout vids from the shopping channel (in my defense, I was sick and feverish the day I bought it, so I blame my 80-dollah wastage on that) and I'd work out in the living room since it's the only huge open space I got, and my mom and cous would laugh at me ;__; It was sad and hilarious at the same time
