She's a goddess of a hell dimension who's been banished and forced to be stuck in a human body because she was getting too powerful and evil. Even with much of her power removed, she's still more than a match for Buffy, and Buffy ends up having to sacrifice herself to stop Glory's destroy-the-world plan. She's crazy strong and tough, and also hot.
