From MIZANNIE
Friends,
This is outside our sequence of posts and is a message from
mizannie.Perhaps because many and most of her friends
are on my list. Her list has dwindled and she had not posted
much in recent times but lately had begun again. Anyway she
asked me to give this message and instead of rewording it I
will put it in her own words.
"I need a favor. Would you mention in one of your posts that
my brother took his life sometime in the wee hours of this
past Monday. I found him. Mother is in hospice care and I
will place her in a nursing home for a few months to straighten
affairs and ready their house for sale.
Please pray for us."
Her brother's name--Lee Curry.
beyond that I think of Chico telling me last night of a painting
he saw at the Italian exhibit at Yale. of a suicide being
embraced by his guardian angel , perhaps rescued from the act
or received after it... this... is one thought and another
these lines I just heard Vincent Price read...
"The breeze, the breath of God, is still,
And the mist upon the hill
Shadowy, shadowy, yet unbroken,
Is a symbol and a token.
How it hangs upon the trees,
A mystery of mysteries!"
Saying a prayer and asking yours for Annie,her mother, her brother.
