.

Gacked from ghyste, because why the hell not?

Rules:

- Bold all of the following TV shows which you've ever seen 3 or more episodes of in your lifetime.
- Italicize a show if you're positive you've seen every episode of it.

Also, I added some shows that were disgracefully lacking. Marked with a *.

An interesting list! Still missing some of my favorites though. Where is Emergency!?

Good point! Randy Mantooth was yummy. Also, Captain Nu!Kirk's dad was on it.

You should repost with your own additions. Spread it around!

Oooh, yes to many of these. The sitcom with 50s hangover and 60s switcheroo twists, the happy family or neighborhood out of place, out of time and completely out of sanity, undoubtedly made me a fan (and, worse, a meta fan) before I knew what it was. Trek just gave me a place to be fannish with others.

But, where is Man from U.N.C.L.E. and its little sister Girl from U.N.C.L.E.? Where is Honey West? I'd put Merlin there for its complete re-write, without losing the theme, of Arthur as most readers know the story -- it's the Matter of Britain as Freaky Friday.

Yes indeed, the list is missing many shows. Like I said to rabidsamfan above, feel free to repost with your own additions. It'd be cool to see the list grow as it makes the rounds!

Classic UK shows that are missing include things like Yes Minister, The Good Life, Only Fools and Horses, Porridge, Rising Damp, Steptoe and Son, To the Manor Born, The Vicar of Dibley, Dad's Army, Up Pompei, Absolutely Fabulous and The Liver Birds. On the genre front, where are The Prisoner, Sapphire and Steel, Blakes' Seven, UFO, Space 1999 or Thunderbirds?

I really should have added those in myself :)

I did add in The Prisoner, as that was a massive omission right there. Steptoe and Son makes me realize that Sanford and Son, the American version set in Harlem, is also missing. UFO, Space 1999 - yeah, those were great too.

The list seems to be all American shows, but I can't be sure since some of them I've never heard of. (Been kind of disconnected from TV for the last 15 years or so.)

I though that until I hit things like Dr Who and Grange Hill. I can understand Who being in there given its current profile, but Grange Hill?

I remember Lancelot Link. And the other strange kids shows too. There was some seriously weird stuff on back then.
(I'd probably add The Six Million Dollar Man, if A-Team is there. And Magnum PI and Ironsides. Plus, the Gong Show. Happily, there don't seem to be too many reality shows on the list.)

Good god, man! I'm truly amazed. There was indeed some bizarre shit on TV back then. The 60's were some freaking weird times to be a kid.

The Six Million Dollar Man is on the list, as is The A Team. Magnum isn't though. There don't seem to be any game shows at all.

I liked the game shows - Hollywood Squares was iconic!

Wikipedia says there were only 17 episodes of Lancelot Link. I wonder why it seems like so many more?
