Okay, I can sort of see why MTV'd want to remake that. Lots of music, dancing and kinky sex. Although I fully expect them to water it down, because let's face it, these days the media has an allergy to the kind of thing that RHPS so enthusiastically celebrated.

Yeesh. And they choose the strangest things to remake. Who finds poking other people in the eye funny anymore? Really, the stuff Moe, Larry and Curly did was so specific. How could it possibly work now?

The only thing I can imagine is a kind of immersive bio-pic, like the kung-fu film made about Bruce Lee, or the musical about Cole Porter. But the Farrelly Brothers...*shudder*

Could be. He's the only thing that makes the idea workable even in terms of box office. Who else does that kind of schtick?

I like Carrey, but...Netflix. Definitely.
