If you're reading this, then you have survived my f-list cut. (Don't you feel lucky? Don't you feel honored? You'd BETTER!) So hi and hello! Now, on to some news.

Sheesh. I can't believe I did THIS.

In case you don't realize, I can't pay for that. I really can't. At least, I can't pay for it now. It'll have to go in chunks, which the ( Read more... )

Wow, that is gorgeous. I never paid much attention to the limited edition stuff, but that is a really pretty piece. Very detailed, very emotionally resonating. I've never been a collector of things like this, for a bunch of reasons (finances only one, the desire to limit the amount of things in my life probably just as important) but I can see why you'd want something so beautiful. It's very nice that the seller is allowing payments.

(What do you sell?)

It's beyond lovely. I got to have one in my house for a bit a couple of years ago, when I organized a campaign to buy one for an LJ friend. I totally fell in love with it, and knew I'd have to get one someday. And I totally know what you mean about owning things - I really shouldn't be cluttering up my life and house with more stuff!

But Sam and Bill...*sigh* There's no way I could pass it up.

What do you sell?

Published materials, mostly. Books, magazines, CDs, DVDs, videos, clippings, etc. The mags and clippings are celebrity and movie oriented.

Yep. It's the second time it's been put up at eBay. Actually, the second time that I know of; it might have been tried before that. I figured the owner would probably not go down any further in price, and because he was nice enough to agree to installments, I didn't try to jerk him around on the amount. Never look a gift horse in the mouth, as they say.

Awwww, man! Sam and Bill. I am beyond jealous. If you ever decide to let it go (yeah, right), and I have a job at the time.... *yearns in vain*

Ha! I have let a lot of things go over the years (and usually regretted it), but I doubt this will ever be one of them. Not just because it's LOTR, but it's a gorgeous piece of art on its own merit. It's getting its own prominent place in my home, you bet. (If I can dig one out of the mountain of clutter!)
