I did not expect that a wound Chloe and apparently humiliated, at least by journalists, to take the initiative and opened his heart to .... an answering machine. Ha, ha, ha!
I am so touched the simplicity of his words, he said quite clearly how he felt and what they were her hopes.

It's a strange reaction, but she's desperate to find a way to make herself feel better, so she's embracing the silver lining. That's my logic anyway.
Oliver's en route, but he does have one more 'test' before he sees Chloe.
