Yeah...finally the gang is trying to talk some sense in to Evie and can I say how much I love Scott for being such a good friend to her that he was willing to walk away and also help to open her eyes. Have to wonder if there is a chapter in the super hero hand book on slef doubt and scarifice...Ollie thinking that Chloe won't go along was just silly. Another great chapter!
The chapter probably does exist, but it shows their humanity, which is likely a reason we're drawn to them.
For Evie, she's used to living while looking over her shoulder, so its tough for her transitioning and focusing on herself for once. And despite his distance over the past year, Scott knows her, and also the way she handled their relationship. But their conversation isn't exactly over yet, as Evie's eyes need a little more opening.
As for Chollie, yes it seems silly, but Oliver knows what Chloe has here and he doesn't want her to sacrifice anything.
Scott's actually one of the good guys after all. I like that. Evie's had one too many betrayals and deserves some positive energy in her life. Nice twist having him be the one to point it out to Evie and Victor how they feel for one another. It's hard on Scott, but after figuring out just how much Evie has gone through, as he said, it's hard not being happy for her. His work isn't done, as I probably could have written a separate fic on this 24-hour period, but something tells me you'll be happy with the result.
