I'm having a lot of trouble with posting still - even comments and replies to comments take a few tries. But I wanted to comment here because I love this series, and this word - masks- is so relevant to all the characters and particularly to Chloe and Oliver's relationship. Chloe has been wearing different masks since season 1 - some of them are the usual identities we all go through in trying to find ourselves, and some were to protect herself from getting hurt. Many of the masks were worn to protect others. And Oliver was the same in so many ways which is why I think they could see beneath the masks when it came to one another. And when you see beneath the mask and still love the person you find - that's pretty awesome. Which is why I love this couple. Great addition to the series :)

LJ's been a little iffy lately, but nothing in comparison to what you're going through. I see your new fic and I have every intention of reading it, but my muse has been awful this week. It's going to be my reward for posting the next part of Breakeven and hammering down the scene that kicking my butt in FE.

I wrote half of this last year and while I thought about leaving it as is (as it was a comment that only 2-3 people saw), but I really like this word too. Part of me wished I didn't rush this and gave it the treatment it deserved, but hey, if you (and others) like it, then I'm happy.

I have about 5 other words that I want to do in this series, but I want to finish other stuff in progress (and potentially write 2 one-shots that came out of nowhere last night). Thanks for the comment! Hopefully your internet improves soon!
