This fit very well into the time period you chose. And I know you said that this was based on a Veronica Mars scene, but it fit Chloe and Oliver - I could easily imagine Oliver's actions, Chloe's responses, and the entire scene, really. Sometimes people write Chlollie scenes based on other shows, movies, etc. and they try to make Chloe and Oliver fit that world instead of vice versa. You do it differently, and that's why your stories are enjoyable to read.

My favorite part? Where Oliver uses Chloe's words about 'getting her' - I could so picture him doing that! It's his way of letting her know that he really cares without saying something that could send her running away from him.

This VM scene.... I used to watch Veronica Mars, so I'm thinking Season 3 after Veronica was attacked on campus? It's hard to remember - I think that show was in its last season when I first moved to Korea in 2007 lol.

Anyway, good job! I'll catch up on your other stories soon :)

I've been meaning to reply to this amazing comment, but I didn't want to forget about it, so I apologize in advance in case my comments are a little scramble-brained... because that's exactly how I'm feeling right now.

I've always considered Logan/Veronica as a high school version of Chlollie, so I've been trying to combine the two worlds a little. (This would be one-shot #2)

That said, making Chlollie fit was harder than I thought, which is likely why this took me a year (that... and procrastination). But the fact you watched VM and thought I did this justice, well that's great to hear. Thank you.

The parallel was something I couldn't ignore. Granted, I didn't want to put in that line initially, but it found its way in, and once it came in, I couldn't take it out

By the way, you're right, it's from Season 3 episode 8. (don't mind me, I just watched it many times for 'research')
