Return!

All right, granted, since I didn't have pneumonic plauge, that sick leave break was a little long, wasn't it? More of it was due to my utter inability to finish the next chapter of The Third Day, no matter how I tried to tackle it. I racked up an entire folder of failed, unworkable versions, it's really quite depressing. So, as much as I hate to ( Read more... )

Yes, DG, it *should* be a factor, but I've been saying that since 2005. I have this mental image of a soaked and cold Tony collapsing with exhaustion right when the ambulance is taking Gibbs and whats-her-face away... it probably won't happen but it is a really nice visual.

I actually don't have a beta. If you'd like the job, I could always use some help with the Nonlinear 'Verse once I finish off "Ten Incomplete Regressions" and the companion piece.

Pete's contaminating your head! That makes me happy. All too frequently, I know he and Tony are having lengthy phone conversations about what's going on, which really makes me want to check in on them and see if Pete knew about Tony and Jeanne.

And I so desperately want the plague to resurface. They've been doing such a good job with continuity, you'd think they would remember the consequences of Tony's rescue in the promo!

Hey, can't always keep a story going. I myself, earlier this year started trying to write a story with more than one chapter (has never happened before)...and it is currently...in a coma, shall we say.

...And hearing about 'Ten incomplete regressions' being on it's way makes me a very happy girl indeed lol.

I keep hearing about this promo, haven't seen it, but oh does it sound exciting. I so want Tony to have saved Gibbs...it will just...be awesome for so many reasons in terms of character development lol.

If the promo is a sign, the episode is going to be the highest point of the show for me.

And I'm glad you're excited for "Ten Incomplete Regressions!" It's a lot of fun to write (although slightly harder than "Ten Nonlinear Moves," for some reason).

I admit I'm super disappointed that we'll have to wait for more of The Third Day, but I can understand you wanting it to be as close to perfect as possible. And if you're not happy with it, then we should wait! But I bet those drafts are 100xs better than what many of us could come up with. As long as you're continuing to write, I'm happy. There's a lack of recent well-written ncis fic out there, so I'm glad we'll still get treated to your Gibbs and Tony angst fics. And truly, it is a treat!

Thank you so much! I'm still going to keep working on The Third Day until I figure out what kind of snarl I got myself into, but I'm glad you're looking forward to the other stories.

Yeah, I agree Tony's paranoia was portrayed well. It's easy to forget sometimes that his bravado sometimes is just that. If I'd had the plague, I'd be terrified of getting sick with anything for a long time, Tony's been overdue for a freak out like this. Jenny was pretty damn cool, and I'm reminded once again that Ziva's pretty kickass too.
*toddles off briefly to look for fanfiction for this episode*

*fangirls over the scenes for the next episode* If the rest of the episode is half as good as that, I will be a very happy fangirl.

Plus, I'm scared of rats, anyway. If I had the plague, I'd be a nightmare.

I keep watching the promo over and over. This episode is going to *rock*.

I totally understand your problem with The Third Day. How couldn't I, when I've been blocked for half a year with my own fic ? * sigh *

And I really should stop reading everything that's about season 5 when I'm in the middle of season 4. Really... lol

But season five is so good! You can't resist the lure.

I know I couldn't, if I heard all the promo-related squee.

Thanks for understanding about the stalled fic!
