Love seeing how you interpret your own stuff. So many things I could copy and say I love, but I will stick with one.
I love that you think the same as me: wrong-and-sad-but-fun is pretty much the perfect description of this story.
...Just quietly, I would love to see the story where Gibbs et al find Tony's letters, because...oh the possibilities.

One of my favorite bits with Lee is:
“But,” Tony says, “they’re on a plane.” She doesn’t get it.
He goes ahead and writes her a sterling letter of recommendation. He’s sure she could work with Fornell.
because, well.. it's snakes, and they're on a plane.. and you get in a dig on Fornell...
Loved, loved, loved the bit about the letters AND the commentary about it. I'd love to read a full story about them someday!
[I really think Tony's afraid of coming off stupid--][I don't think that Tony expects anybody but Gibbs to try and take care of him but I really think that they would; they do here and they do in The Third Day, too. Family works both ways.]
