This is fantastic. Love Pete. Love him. I think he's my favorite non-canon character is all of NCIS fiction. Please don't let this really be the last of him...unless he ends up in the Rictus follow-up.

Again, another fantastic fic. Your writing just seems to get more and more sophisticated, and at the same time you're still developing a really cool, unique style.

I really hope that you're lying and that this isn't the last of Pete. He's probably my favourite OC of any fanfic fandom at the moment, so make sure he makes another appearance! Please! And I loved all the sci-fi refs: NCIS, Star Wars, the TARDIS and Stargate SG1 all in one fic!

Looking forward to your updates for The Third Day.

Thank you so much! Your comments about my style had me blushing for almost an hour.

As for Pete, I didn't meant that he'd never be in another story--I'm too fond of him to abandon him to oblivion. He'll have a fairly important role to play in The Third Day, too. I just meant that I think this might be the last of the little just Tony-and-Pete shorts--I don't want to be too self-indulgent.

The first full chapter of The Third Day should be up next week, and I hope you'll like it!

Pete is such a great character. I loved him in Rictus, and I love him in this. No doubt I will love him in the sequel to Rictus, too.

“Gerald and Ducky and Kate and Gibbs.” He isn’t breathing right. “Half my life almost died in that fucking room.” - I think that was my favourite line. It was so very Tony and it was so...vulnerable, I guess.

Thank you! I really liked that line, too--I hadn't thought too much about Tony being upset by "Bete Noire" before I wrote this. And I'm very glad you like Pete--he actually gets to interact with some people who aren't Tony in the sequel to Rictus, which I like.
