i don't have anything clever to say, but: YAAAY I LOVE IT, everything is so beautiful ... there are not a lot of good ncis au-stories (or not that i've found) & this is just all kinds of perfect! and your writing style fits so very well with everything here, i'm really impressed. *hugs fic close*

Wonderful. I'm most definitely looking forward to their further adventures, and, of course, discovering more about Anthony's mysterious past.

(Ha-- just thought of something. Anthony could have, at one time, had the plague in this universe, and it wouldn't have been terribly strange. I suppose in the 1700s most of the big plague outbreaks were in eastern Europe/Prussia, but that certainly doesn't mean no one in London could have contracted the disease. Random tangent. Sorry. Just thought it was interesting to have something from canon fit better in this universe than in its own.)

And yes, it is really weird that certain parts of canon become far more plausible in a different time period--I've skipped giving him the plague so far, just because it seems like it might have been more debilitating, but should it turn out that I am wrong... Anthony's getting the plague, stat.
