Today I thought about being a music librarian and gave a shot at organizing my room, and thought it a cute little analogy to what I'm trying to do with my life, a thought solidified when I realized I had nowhere to put the stacks of books I pulled out of all the dusty little corners. I feel like sometimes in life I'm an old-fashioned telephone operator. Switching around and manipulating telephone wires all day to keep myself running smoothly...except those wires are people. Argggh. I sit here all morning at Alex's trash talking her punk rock and the second I get the computer I put some old AFI on. I still think punk sucks, I just...have a serious soft spot for AFI. Grar. It'll go away some day. She doesn't have "Morningstar", though, so I'm not too in love again.

Not much to say, I'm just bored.

I'm on a Tom Petty kick. Mmmm, simple music. Since I've been writing one-man songs lately I'm kinda hooked on solo acts. I really need a band, so I can appreciate my Yes again.
