"Chinese" probably refers to Mandarin, which is a completely different language from Cantonese, basically. Most Chinese in America are from southern China, which is where Canton is... I have one kung fu sister who doesn't speak Cantonese so she only understands bits and pieces of the conversations held in Chinese. (My Sifu speaks both, and his English is also good.)

I think there are a lot of things you can do. You can paint uber-fun playlets and can read like nobody's business, and you can kinda ice skate =P.

I really have no idea, but if something comes to mind, I'll let you know.
