Over the last couple of weeks I became very interested in pinball machines and did a heavy amount of research about them. I had my eyes set on a Dungeons and Dragons machine I saw advertised on Craigslist, but decided against it after reading what people had to say. The machine looks pretty damn cool -- it has a backglass with a picture from (I ( Read more... )

When we have an actual house, I would love to have a proper game room. I will have my eye on arcade cabinets too -- not sure if I want to just build a MAME cabinet (which doesn't feel the same to me, I dunno) or just collect classic games themselves.

So amazing! Unfortunately I have superbowl plans that I am leaving to soon, so I wont be able to join you guys tonight unless everyone is still there late!

In any case, I really look forward to seeing it, playing it, nad hearing more about your experience buying it :)

A pinball machine is something I've always wanted. Congrats on going out and getting one! Did the guys give you advice for cleaning it? I remember at my college arcade the cleaning schedule was sporadic and you could tell by the gameplay alone when some tables were filthy.

I want to see pics!

Not particularly, but as a follow-up, the guy who sold me the machine emailed me a bunch of links with repair/maintenance info. Just for standard cleaning I'll probably wipe down the board gently with a special cleaning fluid, but it's in excellent shape so I doubt I'll have to do any serious cleaning for a long time.

As for pics, I don't have any of my own (Geemo might) of the game at our place, but here's a bunch of pics of the machine by the seller.
