It took me awhile to get into Luke Bryan and then I kind of fell into his music, pretty hard. He's got a lot more going for him, lyrically, than a lot of other artists, and I really enjoy stripping away meaning as I re-listen. Luke Bryan, Jason Aldean, and Eric Church are my current country music repeats at the moment. Well. After Miranda Lambert, of course.

I did want to thank you for these posts. I always enjoy squeeing over stuff I agree with and being introduced to stuff I wasn't aware of. Thanks for the heads up!

Luke Bryan and Keith Urban are two in country I think about a lot in how they stay in genre but have a very different pop influence. And yes, Bryan's lyricism is lovely.
