Hall of Fame by The Script with will.i.am - my new favorite song, and strangely enough, a music vid not by fandom that brings something to the table in interpretation and meaning all on it's own. ok, i have heard parts of Hall of Fame before but you made me look and actually hear it. thank you for that.

also, the piano opening reminded me of the "where in the world is matt" (2008) video, a thing that i needed because it reminds me how awesome the world can be. and now i am looking for boom de yada. so, this has been a feel-good moment in time, courtesy you. thanks jenn!

It's such a good song, and the video was totally not what I expected. They're regular people still dreaming and failing but still dreaming and the journey itself they're making is the success. I figure it would be another super glamour superstars life and times, but this just was right.

*g* You're welcome. I need to do that playlist of feel-good songs soon.

Oh wow, wow, how did I miss that?! Sooo relevant to the young people I work with... definitely am going to use this. There's so much in there to relate to for them.

Also, on a completely opposite note, I couldn't help but think of Steve Rogers all through that -- the shrimpy guy, getting shoved into alleys/dumpsters, becoming a ~champion. I wish I had even one single speck of vidding ability ahaha.

(p.s. I so want your list of songs that make you feel awesome!)
